Completely Custom

  • It saves time:

Imagine doing your everyday grocery shopping in under a half hour sitting at the comfort of your couch.

    It saves money:

This kind of goes along with my first point. If you’re only shopping what you need to, you’re less likely to make impulse purchases which will save you money on your overall grocery bill.

The whole family can help out :

Maybe your kids are older, you generally do the grocery shopping on your own. But if you keep a copy of the list hanging inside your pantry door so that when the family knows you’ve run out of something or want to buy something extra, they put it on the list and know you'll see it when you sit together and start buying.

Our Story

Suraj Chhetri, who owns and operates Himalayan Grocers came to Canada in May, 2010 with hIS BEAUTIFUL WIFE, NISHA CHHETRIGYAWALI ANF THEIR 17 MONTHS YEAR OLD SON, AARYAN CHHETRI. Chhetri knows all too well what it is like to be denied religious and cultural rights and to go without food and freedom. HE HAS SEEN THE DARK SIDE OF LIFE WHILE LIVING IN THE REFUGEE CAMP WITH HIS FAMILY FOR ALMOST 2 DECADES. He was born in Bhutan in 1978, the second oldest of four siblings. His family moved to Bhutan from Nepal in the early 1900s at the invitation of the first king of Bhutan Ugyen Wangchuck to help with the modernization of the country. They prospered for generations until the late 1980s when the fourth king in the dynasty Jigme Singye Wangchuck introduced cultural reforms. They took over the store IN 2017 FROM VING PHONG ASIAN FOODMART at the beginning of January and in March were among three local businesses nominated for the Immigrant Entrepreneurship Success Award by The Guelph-Wellington Local Immigration Partnership. "THE SUPPORT AND FEEDBACK FROM OUR VALUED CLIENTS HAS BROUGHT TO THE LEVEL THOUGH THE JOURNEY THAT WE ARE IN ISN'T EASY", HOWEVER CHHETRI BELIEVES Every day is a new day for HIM AND HIS FAMILY & Moving forward THEY only see good things happening to THEM from now on.

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL.
